A 35-year-old man was arrested in Salerno for theft with snatching against two foreign tourists. The incident occurred in the city center.
The two women were sitting on a bench when the 35-year-old, taking them by surprise, stole their purses and fled in his car parked nearby. The man, once identified, was subjected to a house search during which the clothing used during the theft was found.
The Salerno Flying Squad carried out a house arrest precautionary custody order against the 35-year-old from Salerno, issued by the investigating judge at the request of the Salerno Public Prosecutor's Office.
