Listeria risk, Pascoli Italian sweet gorgonzola batch recalled. Ministry of Health recommendations 'Possible risk, do not consume the product'
New alarm for “possible presence of listeria monocytogenes” in a batch of Gorgonzola Dolce DOP of the Pascoli Italiani brand.
Caseificio Gelmini Carlo, based in Besate, in the province of Milan, as reported on the website of the Ministry of Health, has ordered the recall from the market of batch 218246252, sold in 300 gram packages in Eurospin stores, due to microbiological risk. The recommendation is “not to consume the product and to return it to the point of sale for replacement or refund”.
The new listeria recall follows those that occurred in recent weeks involving some batches of hot dogs, sandwiches and pancakes.
