The Genoa Police, after the investigations that a year ago led to the denunciation of 24 members of the no vax-no green pass group “guerrieri ViVi”, conducted searches in Brescia, Verona and Matera, delegated by the DDA of the Genoa Public Prosecutor's Office against three people, two of whom are believed to be the promoters of the association. The charge is secret association and incitement to the interruption of a public service. The Ligurian Cyber Security Operations Center has identified the leaders of the organization after months of computer investigations. Their communication channels on the network are being blacked out.
The proselytism and incitement to crime by the no-vax group has daily targeted institutional representatives and members of the medical association through "violent" comments, posting them in a coordinated and repetitive manner on the social profiles of the victims, especially those who expressed opinions in favor of vaccines, defaced with red paint the offices of some local health authorities, vaccination hubs, hospitals, medical associations, schools, the offices of some unions and newspapers.
With the end of the restrictions related to the pandemic, the no vax group, openly obsessed with any alleged form of control, did not stop its proselytism activity, it turned towards the topics of payment systems and digital identity, climate change, 5G, attacking online, with the same modus operandi, sometimes even with threats, those who expressed opinions in favor of the development of such technologies or issues.
The attacks were coordinated on ad hoc created telegram groups and the incursions were then advertised on the same groups, with images or screenshots of what was vandalized. Some challenges were also created with which the promoters invited the followers to carry out illegal actions, such as placing banners or stickers depicting the group's logo on institutional buildings, in a sort of competition that included a prize in bitcoin to be awarded to the author of the most sensational action. The searches carried out by the investigators of the Operations Center for Cyber Security of Genoa, with the help of the homologous Offices and the Digos of Brescia, Verona and Matera, and the coordination of the Postal and Communications Police Service of Rome, at the residences of the suspects, their places of work and a riding school in the province of Brescia where they met, allowed them to acquire computer evidence confirming the current operation of the "ViVi" and to withdraw as a precaution six common firearms, in the possession of the suspects, regularly reported.
