Naples. A sudden blitz thanks to a tip-off and so the police snap the handcuffs on the wrists of a wanted man.
It happened yesterday evening when the agents of the General Prevention Office, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Centre, intervened at a tourist accommodation facility in Town Hall Square.
It is there that UH, a 27-year-old Belarusian, was tracked down and placed under provisional arrest (he will later have to be extradited) as he was the recipient of an arrest warrant issued by the Belarusian authorities on 1 December 2020 for fraud.
For the moment, the wanted man is locked up in the Poggioreale prison waiting for all the documentation to be ready and pass the scrutiny of the international treaties on the exchange of prisoners. And only then will he be put on a plane to be sent back home.
