The truck driver who stole a woman's wallet in a supermarket in Casalmaggiore, in the province of Cremona, on February 1st and then drove away in his truck has been identified and reported for improper robbery and personal injury.
The scene, filmed with a cell phone by a passerby, was recorded and posted on the web and the images helped the Carabinieri identify the man, a 34-year-old from Naples with a criminal record.
That day, the victim had immediately noticed the theft and chased the man outside the supermarket, screaming to attract the attention of passers-by and security personnel who had tried in vain to stop him. The 34-year-old had climbed into the truck to leave, but the woman had positioned herself on the street, in front of the vehicle, to try to block him.
At that point the driver had started again, almost hitting the victim, who nevertheless fell to the ground and was taken to the hospital where the doctors had certified a few days of prognosis. The images filmed by one of those present, and later posted, were immediately handed over to the Carabinieri who thus traced the license plate number of the vehicle, owned by a transport company in the province of Napoli.
The investigations revealed that on February 34st the truck had been entrusted to the XNUMX-year-old, a company employee, later recognized both by witnesses and by images from the video surveillance circuits.
