Singular discovery of a large quantity of cocaine by the Carabinieri of the Monza Company, coordinated by the public prosecutor's offices of Monza and Busto Arsizio.

The raid started at dawn when the military, monitoring the movements of the suspects through cameras, saw one of the two brothers leave the house with a large backpack which, once loaded into the car, was taken to a piece of land owned by a parish in the municipality of Seveso, and hidden in a agricultural box under lock and key.
A circumstance that aroused the suspicions of the military, considering that the man was not involved in any initiative of the parish community. The carabinieri thus reconstructed the route taken by identifying the box: once inside, 7 kg of cocaine, 542 grams of hashish and 21.400 euros in cash were found inside the bag left shortly before.
The next day, the suspect, having returned to the place and realizing that he had been discovered, attempted to escape by taking the first one-way flight to theAlbania. However, the Carabinieri managed to track him down at Malpensa airport, where he had passed the check-in and was already on board the plane on the runway, from which, in collaboration with the Polaria, was sent down.
Accompanied ashore, he was arrested on suspicion of crime and taken to the Busto Arsizio prison at the disposal of the Prosecutor's Office. The operations continued with a house search of the arrested person, allowing the recovery of other 280 grams of hashish hidden in the cellar.
The searches were also extended to the brother's residence, also in Seveso, who had other items inside the garage 9 kg of cocaine in an underground safe on the floor and on which cabinets had been placed to hide it. At the end of the operations, the brother was also arrested in flagrante delicto and transferred to the penitentiary institute of Monza at the disposal of the Monza Prosecutor's Office.
Drugs seized worth 1,5 million euros
It is estimated that the quantity seized, likely destined for the drug dealing areas of Monza della Brianza, once placed on the market would have a turnover of over 1.500.000 euros. The drug will be sent to the laboratories of the Arma for qualitative analysis.
