As reported by Napoli's official website, Giovanni Simeone left the pitch in the second half of the match against Lecce “for a sore right thigh”.
“Simeone needs to be assessed carefully, he had a little problem behind: at first it seemed like a muscular problem, then just above the knee. When he tried again he felt the point that was sore: he needs to be assessed”. Luciano Spalletti, coach of the team, declared instead Napoli, speaking to Dazn, after his team's 2-1 victory over Lecce.
The muscular injury suffered by Simeone (only twenty minutes on the pitch) which, with Osimenh still out, complicates Spalletti's plans in the forward department
