Episode dedicated to NAPLES on air 13 MAY AT 12:30
From the beauties of the underwater archaeological park of Baia where an underwater restoration will be told to the lunar landscapes of Vesuvius where some marathon runners will arrive along the paths that reach the slopes of the volcano. And then again nature, innovation, sustainability and good food. This week Linea Verde Life goes to discover a different Naples, new and spectacular, a reality that continues to amaze and renew itself also thanks to the creative abilities of its inhabitants.
With Marcello Masi and Daniela Ferolla it will be possible to get to know the most iconic places of the city, from Castel Sant'Elmo, where an important project of digitalization of the main castles of Campania is underway, to the explosive colors of the historic center. A journey through craftsmanship, sports and alternative mobility during which the protagonists will be never dormant traditions and realities that have been able to reinvent themselves thanks to culture and social revitalization.
Daniela Ferolla, after trekking on Vesuvius, will meet young Neapolitans who invented the first “modular” bike in the world, capable of changing from muscular to electric in just 30 seconds; then she will take a tour of the city in a hyper-connected and hyper-safe micro-car that turns on thanks to the use of the cell phone. From here she will arrive at the Real Bosco di Capodimonte, a heavenly place, among breathtaking beauties and an important restoration project of the Bourbon gardens.
Marcello Masi will talk about, among other things, a revolutionary project to clean up the seabed in a place that has long been exploited from an industrial point of view, Bagnoli; and he will go to discover the beauties of the submerged Park of Baia where they even managed to bring the Internet underwater. Then there will be space for inventions, with a battery capable of being powered by sea water alone. Finally, he will visit one of the largest urban gardens in Italy: a place that offers a view of the entire city of Naples and that rises above the historic aqueducts built in the nineteenth century.
With Carmine Gazzanni, again, we will discover Via Duomo, the so-called “street of museums” with its countless attractions and cultural centers that make it a street impossible not to visit for those who want to fully understand the Neapolitan identity.
There will also be the unmissable recipe by Federica De Denaro and then the tour of taste, between the historic “cuoppo” and the Neapolitan tradition of the historic Gay-Odin Chocolate Factory, founded in Naples in 1894 and headquartered since 1922 in the Liberty building on via Vetriera a Chiaia, which has always been synonymous with Neapolitan flair and craftsmanship.
In short, as always, an episode not to be missed… with Linea Verde Life.
