“The Board of Directors of Rai, meeting today in Rome under the chairmanship of Marinella Soldi, has resolved to update the company's organizational structure and has formulated its competent opinion regarding the appointments of the Directors of Genres and of the Newsroom, proposed by the CEO Roberto Sergio”. “The organizational structure illustrated by the CEO, together with the indication of the heads of the Corporate area, introduces new organizational areas, including the Strategic Initiatives Coordination Department as a structured point of reference and coordination of the activities related in particular to the Industrial Plan, the Sustainability Plan and the Service Contract; in the radio editorial area, a new Department called Specialized Digital Radio and Podcasts has been created”.
“As for the Newspaper Headings, the note continues, Gian Marco Chiocci will be the new director of Tg1; Antonio Preziosi will be at Tg2, leaving Rai Parlamento, where Giuseppe Carboni will be taking over; Francesco Pionati will be leading Radio News and Radio1, while Jacopo Volpi will become Director of Raisport and the related Genre”. “For the genres, Stefano Coletta will be leaving Prime Time Entertainment to Marcello Ciannamea and taking his place at Distribution.
Angelo Mellone will direct Day Time Entertainment, Paolo Corsini will direct Insights; Adriano De Maio will lead Cinema and TV series, Maurizio Imbriale will direct Digital Content. For radio channels, Simona Sala will head Radio 2 and Marco Lanzarone will assume responsibility for the new Specialized Digital Radio and Podcast Directorate. Finally, Monica Maggioni will take up the Editorial Directorate for Information Offering”.
“During the meeting, the Board also resolved to renew the Boards of Directors of the controlled companies, whose corporate bodies were expiring: at Rai Cinema, Paolo Del Brocco was confirmed as CEO and Nicola Claudio as President; Sergio Santo was appointed CEO of Rai Com, while Claudia Mazzola took office as President. Andrea Vianello was designated General Manager of San Marino RTV”.
