Introduced by the Rector Matteo Lorito and by Vincenzo Morra, Director of the Department of Earth, Environmental and Resource Sciences, the Laudatio will be held by Pasquale Raia, Professor of Paleontology and Paleoecology. The Lectio magistralis of the new doctor Alberto Angela will follow.
Live streaming and connection are also planned in the Pessina classroom, on the ground floor of the central building.
Thursday, June 8, at 10.30:XNUMX, in the Complex of Saints Marcellino and Festo, in Largo San Marcellino, the Day of the Federico II Student continues. First edition of the initiative dedicated to all the students of Federico II, who in various capacities, through music, words and images, will tell their experiences as Federico II students.
There will be student actors, musicians, athletes, students engaged 'beyond the classroom'. The morning will be opened by the Rector Matteo Lorito. At the end, greetings from the Vice-Rector Rita Mastrullo and a DJ Set by the students of F2 Radio Lab. The event, open to all, will also be streamed.
The celebrations continue on Friday, June 9, at 16.30:2023 p.m., in the Aula Magna Storica, with the Award Ceremony for the XNUMX Illustrious Graduates: Maurizio De Lucia, Attorney of Palermo; Angela Natale, President of Boeing Italia; Alessandro Preziosi, Actor; Gennaro Sangiuliano, Minister of Culture. As usual, this year too Federico II will celebrate together with the city with a concert in the square. At 20.30:XNUMX pm, in fact, the community of Federico II will move to Piazza del Gesù, for the Concert of Goran Bregović, a Bosnian musician and composer, accompanied by his band, the Wedding and Funeral Band, with trumpets, trombones, bass drum, clarinet, saxophone and Bulgarian voices.
The celebrations of the '799 years of Federician knowledge' will end on Monday 19 June, at 20 pm, in the Cortile delle Statue, in via Palladino 39, with 'Amadè and Federico. Mozart returns to Naples after 250 years for the birthday of Federico II', the concert, with free admission, with music by Wolfgang Amadé Mozart performed by the Alban Berg Ensemble Wien and accompanied on the piano by Maestro Michele Campanella.
