Alessandro Siani returns to the stage, where it all began twenty years ago. 20 years of Fiesta, the first theatrical show of the Neapolitan artist that Siani has decided to rewrite, make current and modern, to relive the same emotions with his people of Naples.
The show Fiesta will debut on December 25th, Christmas Day, at the Diana Theater, on the same stage where it performed in 2003. It will tell the story of the comic and irresistible adventures of some of the characters who are the protagonists of the show, with the same comic verve as the beginning, but with a new look.
“I am happy to have the opportunity to tell twenty years of me, of my career, right where it all began – says Alessandro Siani-. It was 2003 and for the first time I conceived a show that was no longer stand-up comedy but a more structured theatrical show. They called me “crazy” when for the first time I touched a stage board with my foot. “Too popular a language that doesn’t fit with the logic of the theater” they told me. Initially the show was greeted with skepticism, but in a few hours, not days, it became a phenomenon that suddenly struck me, a tsunami of affection that invaded the streets, the alleys, the squares, rising beyond Posillipo and conquering Italy. I couldn’t believe it!
Today in 2023 - continues Siani - I felt the need and above all the desire to celebrate and celebrate together with the public this show of mine, or rather ours, because it has always been shared with the people. And to bring it back in a new guise without betraying the comic aspects that had distinguished it.
As then, I return to collaborate with Francesco Albanese, who was an accomplice and companion of that exciting project, and as then I return to a stage that hosted me, the Diana Theater that after 20 years welcomes me once again with open arms and heart! There will be surprises, novelties, but I assure you that the comic explosion, the irreverent fun and the desire to remember a period that certainly saw us younger, carefree and free from many worries will remain intact".
