Il Frosinone Football announced this morning that it has officially entrusted Eusebio DiFrancesco the role of coach responsible for the first team. He will therefore be the heir of Fabio Grosso who last year led the club to win the Serie B championship.
The technician, a native of Pescara, has signed an agreement that will tie him to the yellow and blue club until June 30, 2024 with an option for another year upon reaching safety. Di Francesco arrives in Ciociaria two years after his unfortunate stint in 2021 at the helm ofGreece Verona.
He had previously coached Cagliari (in the 2020-21 season), Sampdoria (in 2019) and the two-year period at Roma (2017-19) leading the Giallorossi to a sensational semi-final of Champions League after deleting the Barcelona to the quarter-finals with a memorable comeback at the Olimpico.
