The commissioner of Napoli, upon proposal of Municipal police – Security Department – Local Police Service – Operational Unit for the Protection of Social Emergencies and Minors – PG Unit Napoli, he arranged the suspension for 15 days of the activity of supplying food and drinks to the public towards a bar di Carrozzieri alley a Monteoliveto.
In particular, last March 11th, the Local Police officers while passing through piazza del Gesù Nuovo they had caught two 15 year olds while they were consuming two alcoholic beverages purchased shortly before in a commercial establishment, finding that an employee had sold the alcoholic beverages without asking for an identity document despite the physical characteristics showing that he was a minor.
The officers, the Police Headquarters reports, once they entered the premises, were approached by an employee and the owner who, after refusing to show the required authorisations, threatened them by brandishing a stool; therefore, the employee of the business was reported for having served alcoholic beverages while the owner was reported for failure to supervise the employee; both were also reported for threatening and resisting a public official.
Furthermore, already in March and July 2022, the police commissioner of Napoli had ordered the suspension of the activity for 30 and 60 days for the same reason. The measure is therefore aimed at avoiding, it is emphasized, a concrete danger for public order and for the safety of citizens.
