Early morning sweets served by the international pastry master Iginio massariThe appointment is set for Sunday 2nd July at 9am in theHotel & Resort Le Axidie at the Marina d'Aequa of Vico Equense, for the greedy review “Author's breakfast”, which features the masters of Italian pastry making.

Great anticipation for the arrival in the Sorrento Peninsula of Maestro Massari, the discreet charm of the pastry shop, who will prepare a tasty start to the day, respecting the values ​​privileged by the initiative and its famous motto: food must not only be good, but must be beautiful, elegant and engaging. The signature breakfast menu includes: its famous panettone, classic and chocolate, tiramisu, sacher, soft baked cakes, mandarin fruit cake, sbrisolone cakes and special cakes. Furthermore, the master from Brescia will prepare a refined fruit and vegetable soup.

An event that is part of the busy calendar of initiatives organised in the historic Hotel, built in 1957 by Commander Antonio Savarese and designed by the Swiss architect Schnebli, and in the kitchens of the new restaurant Punta Scutolo driven by Chef Pier Paolo Giorgio, which places particular attention on always creative menus, seasoned with tradition and modernity.

«The “Colazione d'autore” review returns for the second year with many signatures from the pastry shop – the owners of Axidie explain – who exclusively prepare delicious breakfasts for guests of Le Axidie and for those who want to spend a summer morning tasting the true art of Italian confectionery. As soon as they arrive at the hotel, our guests are treated as if they were in their own homes. Even at breakfast time they are looked after and satisfied in everything, always with familiarity».

The signature breakfast has already been successfully prepared in the past few weeks by master pastry chefs Sabatino Sirica, Raffaele Romano and the ice cream masters Liberato and Raffaele Cuomo. Common feature, the continuous search for quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail. Among sfogliatelle, sweets, plum cakes, tarts, biscuits, sweet and savory croissants filled on request.
