The Carabinieri are already on the trail of the alleged murderer of the woman stabbed and pushed into the trunk of her car in Piano di Sorrento.
This is the woman's ex-boyfriend - who, according to rumors in the community of Trinità, the small village on the hills of Piano - had already been reported for stalking by the woman. He is a familiar face, so the police hope to stop him soon for questioning.
The victim is a 56-year-old woman. A bloody knife was found in a garden a few meters from the private garage: it would be the murder weapon. A hat was also found on the asphalt.
The femicide occurred in the public housing blocks located on the hills. The woman's body had several stab wounds on her back and was lying in the trunk of a car that had been left open.
The call to 112 reporting the presence of a body came around 12 from a resident who lives in the council houses in Piano di Sorrento, in via San Massimo near the intersection with via Gennaro Maresca, where the murder allegedly took place. Another resident said he saw a man flee on a scooter, who shortly before had been arguing with a woman in front of the car that had the tailgate up.
According to witnesses, the woman who was killed was opening the trunk of her car to get her groceries when a man dressed in black approached and stabbed her several times before fleeing on a motorbike.
