The collaboration between Autostrade per l'Italia and the State Police continues to make travelers aware of road safety and promote correct driving behaviour.
Starting from Saturday 5th August, and during two other weekends of the month (12th-26th August), in the main service areas of the motorway network, the police Police will provide advice on the safe driving and useful information on traffic conditions in real time.
ASPI and ANPAS staff will offer caring services to users in transit, also thanks to the presence of an ambulance with volunteers on board. In some stages there will also be vintage cars from GAAMS (Gruppo Amatori Automoto Storiche).
The operators of the Speciality will create an interaction space for travellers, to whom gadgets will also be distributed, entertaining the little ones with moments of play, to involve families in moments of awareness on issues dedicated to road safety: distraction, the use of seat belts, compliance with speed limits or safety distance.
In the service areas, a contact point will be set up for users in transit where the mobile office, cars and motorcycles of the Highway Police and gazebos will be positioned. It will also be possible to simulate driving under the influence, wearing special visors, which simulate the condition of someone who drives after having taken drugs or alcohol.
The initiative, aimed at raising awareness among users about correct driving behavior, continues in the continuity of the communication campaigns carried out in collaboration with the State Police.
The last one was broadcast in July and was made for the first time with the High Patronage of the President of the Republic: a TV-Radio spot that aims to raise awareness, especially among the younger ones, on the topic of road safety, while in the previous months, spots on road safety were made, broadcast on variable message panels (about 2000, one every 10 km), in the making of which Aspi operators also took part.
The tour of the caravan on driving safety includes a total of 7 stops, located at the busiest points of the network. On weekends ofexodus the tour will begin on August 5th in two service areas on the southern route, A1 Secchia Ovest and A14 La Pioppa Ovest, and will continue on Saturday August 12th in A1 Badia Alpino and A1 Cantagallo Ovest.
During the counter-exodus, on August 26, it will be the turn of the service areas of the Northern direction: A1 Secchia Est; A14 Conero Est and A1 Casilina Est. During the first weekend of August, a significant increase in road traffic is expected towards the main Italian and border seaside and holiday resorts.
In particular, for the morning of Saturday 5 August, black traffic conditions are expected, especially in the north-south direction and along the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic corridor. Similar traffic forecasts are indicated for the following Saturday 12 August.
In particular, for the entire weekend of August 4-6, traffic will be particularly intense with possible critical situations. To facilitate the travel of holidaymakers, there will be a traffic ban for vehicles over 7,5t on Friday from 16.00:22.00 to 08.00:22.00, on Saturday from 07.00:22.00 to XNUMX:XNUMX and on holidays from XNUMX:XNUMX to XNUMX:XNUMX.
