Napoli – A 16-year-old boy has been arrested by the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office of Napoli on charges of attempted murder. The arrest occurred in the context of the investigation into the wounding of a fifteen-year-old that occurred shortly before midnight yesterday in via Eduardo Scarpetta, in the neighborhood Ponticelli.
According to reports, the 15-year-old was stabbed during an argument that broke out during a fantasy football auction.
The young man was first taken to the local health facility, Villa Betania, and then transferred to the Ospedale del Mare due to his serious health conditions.
The fifteen-year-old arrived at the hospital with life-threatening stab wounds to his legs, as the blow severed his femoral artery and he risked losing the limb.
The detectives of the Flying Squad interviewed several witnesses, who provided useful information to identify the attacker.
The sixteen-year-old was identified and tracked down in the early hours of this morning in the Ponticelli area and admitted his responsibility during questioning at the Naples Police Headquarters.
