A lawyer attacked a civil judge of the Court of Naples North, in Aversa, throwing an unfavorable sentence at him.
The episode occurred last Friday, September 22, before the start of a hearing. The lawyer, who has not been identified, entered the office of the judge, Cristina Capone, and picked up the papers containing the sentence. After crumpling them, he threw them at the magistrate, who was also present in the office with an employee of the office for the trial.
The ANM of Naples expressed "solidarity and closeness" to colleague Capone, “for the gesture suffered before the start of the hearing last Friday 22 September”. The Executive Committee of the ANM of the Naples District has “strongly stigmatized the actions of the lawyer who, to express displeasure with a judicial decision, resorted to a disrespectful act that undermines the dignity and prestige of the judiciary”.
The lawyer was reported for contempt of a public official.
“This is a very serious episode, which must be firmly condemned”, commented a lawyer from Naples. “The lawyer violated the principle of impartiality of the judge, who must be free from pressure of any kind. He also caused damage to the dignity of the judiciary, which represents a fundamental institution for our democracy”.
"The Aversa episode is a warning bell”, added the lawyer. "We must ensure that episodes of this type do not happen again. We must strengthen the culture of respect for the judiciary and for institutions."

I don't know the facts, but, often sentences are made superficially and with little attention, I still condemn the lawyer's actions.
