On September 13th the CSM will choose the new prosecutor of Naples: three candidates

The appointment of the prosecutor of Napoli returns to the agenda of the Superior Council of the Judiciary.

On September 13, the plenum will meet to choose the successor to Giovanni Melillo, promoted a year ago to head the National Anti-Mafia Directorate.

Three candidates were indicated by the Fifth Commission (for the management positions): Nicola Gratteri, current prosecutor of Catanzaro; Rosa Volpe, investigating magistrate in Naples who until a few months ago was acting prosecutor of Naples; Giuseppe Amato, prosecutor of Bologna.

In the Commission Gratteri obtained four votes, while the other two candidates obtained one vote each. There are many who hope for the arrival of Gratteri at the head of the Naples Prosecutor's Office.
