By a strange twist of fate, Marika Capacchione, who turned 22 yesterday, died in a car accident with her boyfriend Pierpaolo De Martino, 26, while they were riding their motorbike out to party.

The accident occurred along Via delle Industrie in Bellizzi, a road known for its danger. According to initial reconstructions, the motorcycle was proceeding at a high speed when a car manoeuvring suddenly turned left, causing the accident.

The motorcycle hit another car before ending up between a passing car and a third car stopped on the roadway. Authorities are investigating the dynamics of the accident and the possible liability of the driver of the car involved.

Marika and Pierpaolo were a couple who lived together in Montecorvino Rovella. Marika was a dressmaker with a hotel school diploma, while Pierpaolo worked in a local company and had a passion for tattoos.

Both were much loved by their family and friends. The community of Bellizzi, Montecorvino Rovella and Battipaglia is mourning the tragedy that struck these two young lives. The funeral of Marika and Pierpaolo will be held today at 17:XNUMX pm at the church of Santa Maria della Speranza in Battipaglia.
