He had turned 89 last January, Antonio Rosellini, the dean of FIFA agents, has died - we learn in sports circles - in Brazil, where he had chosen to live even if he had never forgotten his Umbrian origins, from Foligno. The name of Rosellini is linked to the many Brazilian champions who landed in Italy after the opening of the borders in 1980: Junior to Torino, Falcao and Cerezo to Rome, Careca and Alemao to Napoli these are just some of his shots.

From Foligno to Brazil in the name of football: after working in insurance and then at SIAE, Rosellini became manager of Foligno in the 60s and 70s. He organized friendly matches and began traveling to South America to bring the most prestigious clubs to Europe. When Italy reopened to foreigners after 1980 years in 14, Rosellini was living in Brazil, and virtually all the clubs turned to him, as he was responsible for bringing so many players to our league.

"I offered Alemao to Cataldo of Lecce for four cents, but he didn't take him. I sold him to Spain for ten times as much and then even more in Italy.", Rosellini said in an interview. Many champions who have made the history of Italian football, in many different moves over the years.
