The hearings, of extreme importance and sensitivity, will be held in a protected environment. In the meantime, the Juvenile Court of Napoli rejected in recent days the request to cancel the communication ban imposed on the mother of one of the two girls.
Two of her three children had been taken away from the woman (now she only has her son who just turned 18). “This trauma is compounded by injustice”, commented the lawyers Angelo Pisani and Antonella Esposito, who represent the woman.
“A few days ago, the judge, confirming the transfer of her two minor children to two different foster homes, denied her any contact with all three, ignoring the trauma that this could cause and not protecting the mother's love for her children, who are also victims.”
Lawyers protest removal of other children
One of the boys was placed in the same facility as his abused little sister, while another community was chosen for the other.
“We will do everything we can to address this injustice”, assure the lawyers Pisani and Esposito, “and we want to remember that the institutions did not respond to our first appeal, which was to help this family leave Caivano for good.
Now, the other boys are prevented from speaking to their mother, who is also a victim of the system. They are considered as dossiers, not human beings who need affection, values and above all the love of their mother, who alone reported and took her children away from Caivano”.
