The Permanent Conference of Services for Road Construction Sites and Events, during the session which takes place on a weekly basis, in the presence of representatives of the Local Police Service, the Roads, Roads and Traffic Service and Municipality 4, has approved some construction sites which will be of interest to Napoli the following streets: From 16 to 18/11/2023 as part of the “Great Historic Center Project of Napoli – enhancement of the UNESCO site” work will be carried out to restore manhole covers to be performed in the center of the carriageway of via Tribunali, in the section between number 193 and vico Sedil Capuano.
For the execution of the works, the following is foreseen: – the prohibition of vehicular transit in the stretch of Via dei Tribunali between number 193 and Vico Scassacocchi, except for residents, construction vehicles, emergency vehicles and the police; – the establishment of alternating one-way traffic in the stretch of Via dei Tribunali between number 193 and Via Concezio Muzy; – the establishment of one-way traffic, with the direction of travel towards Via Duomo, in the stretch of road between Vico Sedil Capuano and Via Duomo.
From 16/11/2023 to 07/12/2023, excavation work will be carried out for the installation of new pipes necessary for the strengthening of the water network, by ABC, in via Caduti di Nassiriya. The work will start from the intersection of Piazza Neghelli, continue along via Caduti di Nassiriya with the direction of via Festignano, to end in the middle of the quadrilateral former via Caserma della Cavalleria, for a total development of approximately 800 m. The work will be carried out during the day, with open traffic with only the narrowing of the carriageway. From 20 to 23 November, excavation work will be carried out for the replacement of a section of underground LV power line and the installation of a road sectioning cabinet, by E-Distribuzione Spa, in via Pallucci near the roundabout of via Provinciale Montagna Spaccata.
The works will be carried out with open traffic during the day, starting at 09:00, to allow the morning flow of vehicles and access to the school premises. Traffic controllers will be used to manage traffic and a free lane of 3,50 m will always be left for each direction of travel. At the end of each working day the excavation will be closed and the construction site will be dismantled. From 21 November for 18 months, Metropolitana di Napoli Spa will carry out the works relating to the construction of the exits of the “Poggioreale” Station and for which it is necessary to occupy the entire area of the Poggioreale Hemicycle with consequent closure to traffic of the same and preparation of a complex traffic device as per OD n. 1697 of 15/11/2023.
From 4 to 7 December, excavation work will be carried out on the crossing for the expansion of the fiber optic network, by the Fastweb Company, in via Ponti Rossi, at number 118 (villa Walpole – ASL Ambulatorio Geriatrico). The work will be carried out on half the carriageway at a time, leaving a free lane of 3,50 m. for each direction of travel and always ensuring the transit of vehicles, public transport and emergency vehicles. A protected pedestrian walkway will also be created.
