Unauthorized practice of profession, material forgery and fraud against the State: these are the charges that a 50-year-old from Castellamare di Stabia and resident in Salerno will have to answer to.
According to the investigations carried out by the State Police, he signed a fixed-term teaching contract at a school in Cremona and then actually worked for five months without having the requisites.
Specifically, classified as a substitute teacher, the false teacher taught in an elementary school. “The trivial spelling mistakes and the difficulty even at the level of oral communication had made me suspicious – explained the school principal -. I had noticed some obvious critical issues and I acted accordingly."
The Flying Squad's investigation began with a report in January 2023 sent by the institute's management, which questioned the actual regularity of the diploma submitted online when applying for access to the Provincial Territorial Ranking of Cremona, in which the fake teacher declared he had a teaching diploma, which in reality he had never obtained. Now the 50-year-old is under investigation.
