The tender for the demolition works of the grandstand on the Vico Acitillo side of the stadium started yesterday Necklace del Vomero, in Naples. The demolition, the Campania Region informs, “is necessary due to the danger arising from structural collapses.
The overall project already included demolition, with the construction of a new grandstand with new gyms”. Meanwhile, work on the swimming pool continues, which will end at the end of February 2024.
"The interventions planned by the Region for the Collana stadium are continuing," declared the president of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca, "for which we have allocated 40 million euros, destined for the total recovery of the stadium. The objective is to allow the use of the Vomero facility, according to the project we presented to the city, in the shortest time possible."
