What was once called the “American Dream”: achieving a position of well-being through hard work and perseverance, may now seem within the reach of “everyone”, thanks to technology. Social media channels are literally invaded by cryptocurrency “gurus”, “strategists” of e-commerce, and trading advisors, who promise easy profits with little effort; leaving aside the judgments on these types of investments, from the network, and thanks to technologies, there is no doubt that we can understand the market, and try to seize the opportunities it presents us. Let's see, therefore, the sectors in which to invest both your skills and your economic resources in 2024.

The world of online casinos is a ten billion a year business

Going to touch the panorama of the casino, and focusing specifically on online ones like William Hill that offer everything from live games to slot machines, right up to poker and blackjack tables, we are analyzing a real “gold mine”.

The virtual gambling sector represents 1% of the Italian GDP, and employs over 150 thousand people including customer service representatives, programmers, sales managers, graphic designers and other professionals. This is a more than suitable sector for thinking about investing your own economic resources or skills, since it often also allows you to gain work experience abroad, for example in Malta, or Gibraltar, where many companies have their headquarters. The guarantees of success are enormous even for those who intend to open a software house dedicated to the production of video games, casino games and other types of digital and/or virtual entertainment.

Green: It's trendy, it's healthy, and it's profitable

Fashions and trends come and go, but there is one that fortunately seems to be constant and present: eco-sustainability. “Green” businesses, organic and zero-mile products are increasingly advertised; small and medium-sized businesses promote their services by giving away gadgets sustainable business practices, and for a large portion of consumers they have become the first option among products to put on the table. The so-called “return to the countryside” is almost no longer news, even by professionals and graduates, who find their place in the management of small or medium-sized agricultural businesses. Among these there is a business that really seems to know no crisis, and that is heliciculture: breeding of snails, often improperly called slugs. Snail breeding can also be directed to the sole production of snail slime: used in medicine and cosmetics since the time of the Greek Hippocrates in the 99th century BC, and cited by Pliny the Elder in his “Naturalis Historia” for its properties in treating skin abscesses and ulcers. Snail farming is therefore an excellent entry point for working in the green sector, and also without harming the snails: the extraction of the “mucus”, or slime, of the snails occurs in a very minimally invasive way, and nowadays after the process the snails that remain alive are almost XNUMX%.

Casinos and green are currently two sectors for which demand is increasingly high, both in Italy and around the world. Among other “promising” activities, we must also include everything related to renewable and sustainable energy: wind and solar first and foremost.
