Yesterday afternoon, the State Police arrested a 40-year-old Romanian for evasion and resisting a public official.
Specifically, the officers of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, during the territorial control service, while passing through via Above the wall, at the corner with via Giacomo Savarese, they noticed a man with a suspicious manner who, having noticed the presence of the operators, took to flight in an attempt to evade the control.
The police, after a brief chase, reached him in via Lavinaio and, with no small difficulty, stopped him; the officers, from the investigations carried out later, discovered the reason for the escape attempt. The aforementioned was, in fact, subjected to the measure of house arrest for crimes against property.
I read the article and it seems the police did a good job in stopping this man. But I wonder why he was out there if he was under house arrest, there are rules to follow.
