The winner of the 13th edition of X Factor, KIMONO, re-emerges on the music scene with her latest song entitled “NIENTE DI NOI”. Produced by Dischi dei Sognatori and distributed by ADA Music Italy, the song will be broadcast on radio stations starting from Friday 4 April.
An Emotional Journey
KIMONO describes “Niente di noi” as an emotional journey between escape and fear of loss. The song tells of the fragile space between perceived identity and reality, between personal confusion and inner research. The lyrics explore the duality of glances that can become “bittersweet poison”, while the song unfolds between melancholic melodies and dance rhythms.
Sound and Collaborations
The sound of the song is a mix of electronic atmospheres and enveloping synths, which create a balance between light and shadow, between the desire to hold back and the desire to let go. “Niente di noi” was produced by Maestro and written by KIMONO herself together with Marco Rettani and Maestro. With this new release, the artist continues her musical evolution, succeeding the successes of previous songs such as “Tempesta”, “In Ostaggio”, and “Fuori Tempo”, which allowed her to triumph at Area Sanremo 2024.

I listened to the new song by KIMONO and I have to say that it is interesting but there are some parts that I don't understand very well, maybe the message is a bit confusing for the listener. I like the mix of sounds.
I also liked the song, but some lyrics seem a bit forced, as if they wanted to say too much in a short time. However, I appreciate the desire to innovate in Italian music.
