A special reopening and “new inauguration” event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their entrepreneurial project, with more than 200 people including friends and loyal customers who crowded “Attori & Spettatori”, the restaurant on Via Santa Lucia in Naples that for the occasion had a makeover and presented itself in all respects in a “jewel” version.

HISTORY
To understand how the concept of “Attori & Spettatori” was born – and above all the experience of the Liberato family in the restaurant business – we need to go back in time, to 1977, when in Naples, in Mergellina, the restaurant “Dal Delicato” was born, which in a few years became a cult of Neapolitan catering and a source of inspiration for many entrepreneurs in the sector. It is right there that Peppe Liberato, then nineteen years old, accompanied by an infinite passion for his work, first quickly becomes the dining room manager and then also finds love by marrying Maria Martino, daughter of the owner of Delicato, Donato.
It was 2000 when, after 23 years of working experience at Delicato”, Peppe and Maria decided to build the future for their three children Antonio, Sergio and Flavio and thought of their own restaurant – “Attori & Spettatori”, precisely – which would see the light and open to the public the following year. Today, 25 years after the idea, Peppe Liberato continues to be a volcano of energy that transmits to others the passion for his work, manages the restaurant and supervises the roles: his wife Maria is in fact the head of the administration; his sons Antonio, Sergio and Flavio are respectively chef de cuisine, pastry chef and researcher of culinary pairings; master pizza chef; maitre d', sommelier, responsible for welcoming tourists and customers and “frontman” of the restaurant.
Flavio Liberato, in particular, repeated years after his parents the union of two historic families of excellence in the world of Neapolitan catering, getting engaged to Carmela Scicchitano, a restaurateur and daughter of Assunta Pacifico.
THE CONCEPT
The Liberato family concept can be summed up in two sentences: “taste of the sea” and “scent of home”. The experience of Peppe Liberato, who has dedicated his life to catering, makes “Attori & Spettatori” an example of professionalism, elegance and hospitality, with great attention to quality and customer care, including the many tourists who come to Santa Lucia every day. All this without forgetting the tradition of excellence of the past and continuously seeking raw materials of excellent quality, in order to make culinary creations magical moments for customers.
Nestled a stone's throw from Piazza del Plebiscito and the Lungomare in the picturesque corner of Santa Lucia, an area in which the Liberatos have bet since 2000, having the courage to invest in a time of lower tourist influx and contributing significantly to revitalizing the area, "Attori & Spettatori" represents a doc appointment with true Neapolitan gastronomy, with large windows on the outside, bright and elegant rooms but at the same time also welcoming and familiar; a restaurant "open" to the city and with an excellent price-quality ratio.
Born with 40 seats, “Attori e spettacolo” can now accommodate 150 people, between indoor and outdoor seats. It is proposed as the ideal place to host dinners with friends and private events, with the menu that offers typical Neapolitan dishes and fish-based dishes (starters, first and second courses).
