The Naples Local Police carried out widespread checks in the city center, focusing in particular on commercial activities and tourist buses.
In via Mezzocannone and surrounding areas, five businesses were fined: two for illegal occupation of public land, two for violation of the regulations on noise emissions and one for organizing an event open to the public without the required Scia.
In compliance with the ordinance that regulates the influx of tourist buses during the Christmas holidays, the motorcycle personnel checked 88 vehicles, fining 15. Among the violations contested, there are:
Driving without a license; Lack of insurance coverage; Driving with a vehicle already seized; Failure to respect driving times by bus drivers; Unauthorized entry into a limited traffic zone by bus drivers. Five vehicle removals were also carried out on Via Marina.
The personnel of the Local Police Territorial Intervention Group Operational Unit supported the inspection personnel of the ANM in carrying out checks in the area affected by the influx of tourist buses. The auxiliaries issued 158 reports, of which 130 for failure to display a parking ticket and 28 for parking prohibitions with reference to the management order that regulates the influx of tourist buses during the Christmas holidays.
The Local Police checks will continue in the coming days, with the aim of ensuring compliance with the rules and the safety of citizens and tourists.
