Sorrento Peninsula, agreement on job offers in tourism

Prince of Campus Napoli, a centre for advanced training and university specialisation in the fields of gastronomic sciences and of the Multiversity Group, and Federalberghi Sorrentine peninsula they signed an agreement to reduce the mismatch between supply and demand of labor in the tourism sector of the Sorrento Peninsula.

The agreement includes the provision of five professional courses to meet the needs of the Hospitality sector and offer job opportunities at the most prestigious hotel facilities of the members of Federalberghi Penisola Sorrentina.

Participation in the courses is fully funded and reserved for 60 students. The training courses include blended lessons, in person and digitally, accompanied by interactive educational workshops and internships at some of the best hotels on the Sorrento Peninsula.

“In a context of economic growth in the tourism sector, the collaboration between Campus Principe di Napoli and Federalberghi Penisola Sorrentina represents an example of effective collaboration between the world of training and that of work,” said Giovanni Marino, chief financial officer of the Multiversity Group. “The goal is to contribute to the resolution of a structural problem in the tourism sector of finding adequately trained resources for specific roles.”

“The first five courses launched with the edition that will start in January 2024, intended for 60 students,” underlined Iaccarino, “represent the beginning of a broader and more articulated path that can represent the creation of a reference training hub for the entire sector, effectively responding to the needs of our staff and contributing to the quality of the services provided to our customers”.
