The bus driver got off the bus to ask a motorist, busy on a phone call, who had parked his Mercedes in the space reserved for the bus stop to move the car. But he was first verbally attacked and then hit with the car that started at high speed and then fled.
It happened at the bus stop in Piazza Amedeo. Marco Sansone, a trade unionist for USB, reported it: “We have been reporting the wild parking at the bus stop in Piazza Amedeo for years. Enough is enough, we need to intervene immediately”.
The driver was treated at Fatebenefratelli Hospital.
"We have been denouncing scoundrels and violent people for years. Often the two things coincide. Those who park without respect for others and for the rules often try to assert their reasons by resorting to barbaric instincts. We express our full solidarity to the attacked driver and we hope that the aggressor is identified and reported. We have been too indulgent towards certain phenomena, it is time for a change." - commented the deputy of the Green-Left alliance Francesco Emilio Borrelli
