The president of the Comitato Valori collinari, Gennaro Capodanno, has launched an appeal to the Prefect of Napoli to reopen via Luca Giordano in the Vomero district.
Capodanno spoke out against the pedestrianization of some areas and called for the revocation of the measures implemented, underlining the importance of restoring traffic flow as in the past.
In the appeal, Capodanno denounces the critical situation of the streets, in particular via Morghen, and opposes the idea of establishing a limited traffic zone in the upper part of the neighborhood.
The appeal also highlights the possible negative effects that such a measure could have on traffic and local commerce. Capodanno calls for immediate action by the competent authorities to improve traffic conditions in the Vomero neighborhood and reduce road congestion.
The appeal includes a request to ban parking along certain streets to ease traffic and prevent air pollution problems.
In conclusion, the New Year's appeal aims to raise awareness among institutions on the need to adopt effective measures to solve traffic problems in the Vomero district, reiterating the importance of maintaining a balance between the needs of the local population and urban mobility.
