Fencing Champion Abused During Retreat by 3 Athletes

A 17-year-old fencing champion from Uzbekistan was sexually abused by three athletes during a sports retreat in Chianciano Terme.

The episode of gang violence occurred between 4 and 5 August during the pre-summer retreat involving several teams from various Federations.

The Siena Prosecutor's Office is currently investigating the abuse and has opened an investigation against two of the athletes involved, one of whom is a minor.

The teacher Domenica Russo, who died in the accident on the school bus, was Neapolitan May 20, 2025 - 06:52 am
