Tragedia on state road 163 in the province of Naples: 19-year-old loses his life. More signs of blood on the asphalt over the weekend. The fatality struck along the road that connects Positano and Piano di Sorrento, precisely in Tordigliano in the territory of Vico Equense.
The victim, Antonino Aiello, 19, was a resident of that very location. According to an initial reconstruction, the young man's scooter collided head-on with that of another motorcyclist, causing serious consequences for the 19-year-old. Despite attempts at resuscitation by the medical personnel who intervened, the young man's life was irretrievably lost. The Torre Annunziata Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation, entrusting the investigation to the municipal police of Vico Equense. Antonino Aiello's body remains available pending an autopsy.
The mayor of Vico Equense, Joseph AielloSaid: "There are no words, but only a great silence to express the pain for this tragedy. The more the hours pass, the more impossible it seems to us that a boy of only 19 years old should leave this Earth. I express all my closeness and that of our community to the family, friends and all those who loved Antonino".
