Rocco Siffredi, a well-known pornographic actor, has been denounced by a journalist for sexual harassment.
The complaint, which included WhatsApp chats, states that Siffredi (real name Rocco Tano) sent the journalist several messages with insistent comments, followed by alleged verbal abuse. Lawyer Laura Sgrò is assisting the alleged victim, and the police will soon send an initial report to the Rome prosecutor's office regarding the situation.
The story – as reported by Il Fatto Quotidiano – began at the end of last year when the journalist contacted Siffredi for an interview on the Netflix series “Supersex”, based on the actor's life.
The initial messages, according to the reporter, were “colloquial” and “kind.” Siffredi commented on the journalist’s WhatsApp photo with compliments and flattery, however, the journalist did not attach much importance to those messages.
The agreed interview took place only a few months later, on March 15, at the Hotel Parco dei Principi in Rome. After the approximately two-hour interview, Siffredi continued to send the journalist insistent messages. He later referred to the woman's "top femininity" and her behavior during the interview.
After these voice messages, the situation seems to have further degenerated. A dispute arose over the contents of the interview and Siffredi expressed his displeasure with some parts, which he requested to be deleted. After removing the disputed parts, on the advice of the editor, Siffredi initially thanked the journalist, but after publication he started contacting her again and the situation worsened.
In fact, the journalist reported that Siffredi had sent her a series of insults, including calling her a “profiteer.” He had also made several allusions to the woman’s sexual life. The journalist fought back, responded on the merits, and warned Siffredi that she would file a complaint if he continued. Nonetheless, Siffredi continued to send messages, both written and voice, and made several attempts to call her.
The situation reached such a point that the journalist was forced to consult her doctor due to the intense state of anxiety and abdominal cramps which, as she explained, were caused by Siffredi's behavior.
