He kills his elderly mother, hiding the body to continue to unduly obtain her pension and the financial support provided by the Municipality of Milan. The Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command of Novara have executed a custodial order in prison, issued by the judge of the Court of Novara, against SG, 62 years old.
The man is accused of wilful homicide, suppression or destruction of a corpse, aggravated fraud, self-laundering and ideological falsification committed in a public document. On 10 October 2022, in Trecate (Novara), in the Ticino Park, human bones were found, subsequently subjected to forensic medical examinations at the Labanof (Laboratory of Anthropology and Forensic Odontology of the University of Milan).
The investigators, thanks to a prosthesis between two vertebrae, traced the manufacturing company, the hospital that had implanted it and finally the woman, 89 years old at the time, to whom they belonged. The investigation focused on the victim's son, the 62-year-old, whose only son was interviewed.
The daughter of the latter, who lived in the deceased's home in Milan, did not provide information on the circumstances of her grandmother's death or the funeral arrangements. It was thus established that the 62-year-old, without a stable job, was taking advantage of his mother's pension, unduly obtained from INPS, together with the support provided by the Municipality of Milan to disabled people in financial difficulty.
