On the occasion of the presentation of the book “Olivia e le Altre” by Diana Russo, the Le Kassandre Association is organizing an event to explore the role of women in judicial processes related to gender violence.
The book narrates twenty stories of violence, offering an in-depth look at the vulnerability of victims and their search for justice. The author, Diana Russo, an expert magistrate, guides readers through stories of resilience and courage. During the event, a discussion will be opened between the author, the lawyer Marianna Hasson (APS Le Kassandre) and the philosopher Simona Marino, which will lead to an in-depth reflection on the stereotypes that surround women victims of violence. The aim is to highlight the active role of women in the process of social change and enhance different perspectives on the matter.
The event, part of the Marzo Donna 2024 review “Women and the time for change”, will be held on March 22, 2024 (17.30 pm) at the San Domenico Maggiore Complex (Chapter Room). We look forward to welcoming you for an important discussion on the need to recognize and value the resources, desires and needs for recognition of women in judicial processes.
