During a police check at the turnstiles of the Stadio Olimpico, on the occasion of the Europa League match between Roma and Milan, a fan was arrested after being found in possession of 47 bags of cocaine. The man, a 45-year-old Roma fan with ties to the ultra circles of the Giallorossi fans, was stopped by officers from the Prati police station.
The bags, containing approximately 15 grams of cocaine in total, were hidden on the fan at the time of the check. The officers, having detected the presence of such a quantity of narcotic substance, promptly proceeded with the arrest of the subject.
The discovery has raised concerns about the presence of illicit substances in stadiums during sporting events and has highlighted the need for rigorous controls to ensure safety and compliance with the law. The police will continue to monitor the activities closely.
