“I fear that Conte will not look beyond national borders to train.

The big Italian football venues are what attract him the most. Naples, Rome and Milan are among the cities he would consider,” Toma said. “Return to Juventus?

I don't think so. Napoli is a place that has always fascinated Conte.

During my time at Atalanta, we often discussed it and he was impressed by the city and his passion for football."

Speaking about Conte's influence on players, Toma highlighted his ability to motivate and change players' perspectives. “I worked with Conte for two years, during his time at Bari and Atalanta. His obsessive attention to defense was evident. He is a step forward in this field.

I remember his initial impact at Atalanta, with 15 points in the first games. Then, an event changed his path,” added Toma, referring to a controversial episode during his experience with Atalanta.

On the role of Conte's deputy in Naples, Toma expressed caution. “I don’t want to make assumptions. Giuntoli courted me for years, but I was busy with other projects.

With Conte, there was only a professional relationship. We were not friends.

I made the decision to leave, looking for new challenges,” concluded Toma, reflecting on his past and future in the world of football.
