Giovanni Manna and Juventus have officially parted ways. The Bianconeri club has announced the consensual termination of the contract with the Head of First Team. “In five seasons together, Giovanni Manna held key roles in the Juventus youth sector, first as Head of the Under 19s and then as Sporting Director of the then Under 23s, now Next Gen”, reads an official note from the company.
“His work has focused mainly on the growth and maturation of the young talents in the squad.
We thank Giovanni for the professionalism he has demonstrated over the years and wish him the best for the future." In recent weeks, Manna has been linked to Napoli. The rumors have fueled speculation about a possible new role at the Neapolitan club that now seems to be just a formality.
Juventus, meanwhile, will have to find a new leader to continue the work of enhancing the talents of its youth sector as part of a revolution that also involves the technical side.
