During the renovation works on the facade of a condominium in Scafati, a 22-year-old worker from Poggiomarino lost his life in an accident at work.
According to initial reconstructions, the young man was lifting some steel plates using a pulley when one of them broke off and hit him in the throat, severing it.
The alarm was raised immediately, but the 118 paramedics who arrived on the scene could do nothing but confirm the death.
