Naples, Local Police blitz against illegal building in Astroni

Naples. The Naples Local Police have intensified checks throughout the city.

Several operations have been conducted in recent days, with the seizure of goods and vehicles, administrative sanctions and criminal complaints.

Illegal sales and tires in Astroni:

A street vendor was illegally occupying over 15 metres of pavement and flowerbeds with displays of plants and beach items.

The goods and the displays were subjected to administrative seizure.
16 illegally stored tires were seized under criminal law environmental violations.

Checks in Scampia:

• 37 vehicles checked by the Scampia Operational Unit.
  3 penalties for failure to inspect.
  2 reports for driving with a seized vehicle, with revocation of the license and confiscation of the vehicle.
  1 fine for driving with a vehicle subject to administrative seizure.
  2 penalties for lack of insurance coverage.
  2 fines for expired driving licence.
  3 fines for driving without documents.
  2 reports for driving without a license.

Checks in Piazza Nazionale:

• 23 vehicles checked in collaboration with the Motorcyclists Department-Git and the San Lorenzo Operational Unit.
  3 fines for driving without a license.
  2 fines for careless entrustment of the vehicle.
  1 fine for driving without an MOT.
  1 penalty for lack of insurance coverage.
  14 fines for driving without a helmet.
  4 vehicles seized.
  4 sanctions for lack of documentation.
  10 vehicles seized.
  5 vehicles seized.
