## Cilento Fusillo Festival: A Journey Through Gastronomy and Music in the Heart of Cilento
The long-awaited Cilento Fusillo Festival, dedicated to the rich culinary and folk music traditions of the Cilento region, begins on August 8th at the Parco delle Mongolfiere in Paestum. The event, organized by the Il Tempio di Paestum Association with the patronage of the City of Capaccio-Paestum, will continue until Sunday, August 11th.
### Local Aperitifs and Tastings
The Mongolfiere Park will open its doors at 19:30 pm every evening, offering a rich menu featuring artisanal products from the area. Visitors will be able to enjoy specialties such as Fusilli alla cilentana, Parmigiana di melanzane, Fresella with tomatoes and mozzarella, Grilled sausage, Fried pizza and Caciocavallo impiccato, all prepared with high-quality ingredients and respectful of local tradition.
### Musical Performances
Musical entertainment will begin every evening at 22:00 p.m., offering a vibrant mix of concerts and shows that will highlight the sounds of tammorra and folk singing. The program of performances is varied and engaging:
- Thursday 8th August: folk music concert with the Tammorrasia group
- Friday 9th August: Sette Bocche performance
- Saturday 10th August: performance by the group I Tammurria
- Sunday 11th August: show by the popular group Rotumbè
