On Wednesday 14th August at 20pm there will be a big party in Sant'Agnello for the meeting with fellow citizen Monica De Gennaro returning from Olympics Paris 2024 where the women's national volleyball team won the gold medal for the first time.
The local authorities and sports teams of the area will be present at the event in Piazza Matteotti. "We are proud of our Moki - comments Mayor Antonino Coppola - She has become part of the history of our country and our land, making the people of Santanella proud, but also the Sorrento Peninsula and all of Italy. We are happy to celebrate together the legendary success brought home from the Olympics. We meet in the same square where Monica has been with us on other occasions, with extreme availability, to encourage the kids to get closer to sports and to cultivate their passions. With great emotion we invite everyone to pay homage to her".
