Everything is ready for the new exhibition curated by the CallystoArts Aps association, promoted and financed by the Municipality of Napoli, as part of the project "Naples City of Music".

A tribute to women and music
Under the artistic direction of Fabio Micera, the festival celebrates the strength of women and their role in the creative process, through melodies that have permeated the streets of Naples for centuries. Ferdinando Tozzi, delegate of the Mayor of Naples for the music and audiovisual industry, said: “Terre d’incanto is a cultural itinerary with which the 'Napoli Città della Musica' project continues in a virtuous way and, through the voices and stories of various women, enhances the Neapolitan tradition and its sonic contaminations, which lead to the present and future of our musical panorama”.
The shows scheduled
The first show, entitled “Nanà”, will be held on October 19. This event explores the birth of the Conservatories in the 700th century, a moment that marked the transformation of musical education and production in Naples, making it the world capital of music. Anna, symbol of music and mother of the world, will lead the audience on a journey that starts from the opera arias of the Neapolitan Baroque to the contemporary avant-garde in jazz. The second show, “Janare”, will be staged on October 25. It is a Teatro in Musica held by an all-female company, which will tell the cry of hope and equality of all women in the world. This show presents the “cursed songs” and the untold stories, in a form of fable that gives voice to the witches of the past and the revolutionaries of the present. The festival will end on October 27 with “Malia – Omaggio a Moscato”, a tribute to love told in classic Neapolitan songs. In this intimate show, for piano and voices, the woman, usually the dedicatee of the songs, becomes the protagonist and conductor, redefining and reconstructing the structure of the song according to the criteria of contemporaneity.
Labs and workshops
Before the events, a program of laboratories and workshops dedicated to the production of a contemporary work will be offered. From August to September, there will be performing arts workshops, writing and composition workshops.
