A ambulance of 118 in front of the Palace of Caserta every day from 10am to 17pm to provide assistance to anyone in need.
This is the initiative that started yesterday, August 1st, the result of the collaboration between the UNESCO Heritage Museum, the Prevention Department of the ASL of Caserta and 118.
In recent days, the director of the Royal Palace Tiziana Maffei spoke with Amedeo Blasotti (general director of the ASL), Giancarlo Ricciardelli (Director of Prevention of the ASL) and Roberto Mannella (Director of 118), thus managing to activate the service intended above all for visitors to the Royal Palace, given that the emergency vehicle is positioned in Piazza Carlo di Borbone, near the main entrance to the Reggia Vanvitelliana.
The collaboration between the Museum and health authorities includes the organization, in the coming weeks, with the Emergency Operations Center 118, of BLSD courses, to be held in September for the Museum staff, and relating to the use of the defibrillators supplied to the Reggia.
“I would like to thank – said Maffei – the General Directorate and the Health Directorate, the Prevention Department, the Operations Unit of the 118 Operations Center, the Operations Unit of the Training Service of the Local Health Authority of Caserta and all the staff of the Local Health Authority of Caserta for having accepted our request.
We are aware of the great work that the emergency medical staff carries out every day, especially during this time of year. I am grateful for the sensitivity shown towards the Palace of Caserta, its staff and its visitors to verify possible interventions in favor of collective well-being".
