Finance officers from the Naples Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza conducted a major anti-drug operation in San Vitaliano, seizing over 100 grams of narcotics, including marijuana and cocaine, as well as a smartphone and a switchblade.

During the operation, a young local man was arrested in flagrante delicto. The financial police of the Nola Group conducted the operation as part of the economic control of the territory, stopping a car near the Napoli Est motorway toll booth.

The driver of the car showed clear signs of nervousness at the requests of the military.

A thorough inspection of the vehicle led to the discovery of the narcotic substance, hidden in a cellophane wrapper under the front passenger seat.

The operation ended with the seizure of the drugs, the switchblade found during the subsequent house search, and the young man's smartphone.

After the validation judgment, the young man was subjected to the measure of the obligation to report to the judicial police.
