# The Summer Festival Transforms Piazza del Plebiscito into a Large Open Theatre
The summer festival transforms Piazza del Plebiscito into a large open-air theatre, with free music, theatre and dance performances. The highlight of the evening will be the concert of Serena Brancale, a national phenomenon of urban jazz music.
Serena Brancale: A Multifaceted Talent
The musician from Bari will finally perform at Napoli, in the most important square of the city, in front of an audience that is expected to be large. Serena Brancale is a versatile artist with an extraordinary voice, who rose to prominence last year with the song 'U Baccalà'. Her success continued with the singles "La Zia" and the recent "Stu cafè", which takes up the jingle of an old commercial for a well-known coffee company. Raised on Neapolitan music, she has often used the Apulian dialect in her songs. A devotee of Pino Daniele, she also loves Eduardo De Crescenzo and Enzo Gragnaniello. During the concert, she promises to sing historic songs such as "Je so pazzo" and "Alleria" and will also pay homage to Lucio Dalla. In over ten years of career, the singer-songwriter has mixed genres and sounds, establishing herself as one of the most multifaceted and avant-garde artists in the Italian music scene.
Opening Shows
Before Serena Brancale's concert, the audience will be able to watch the performance of the students of the CIOE' artistic community, who will perform "Non ci resta che...CIOE'". The official start of the evening, scheduled for 19:30 pm, will feature the performance of Gioz, a singer-songwriter who, through rap with reggae, funk and pop influences, tries to convey a current and thoughtful message.
A Successful Review
Under the artistic direction of Lello Arena, this edition of Stay in Naples promises to consolidate the success of past editions. The festival is funded by the Municipality of Naples and the Metropolitan City, and is desired by Mayor Manfredi as part of the broader project Naples City of Music. The aim of the event is to offer tourists and citizens who flock to the city in August live shows with artists of different genres, particularly highlighting Neapolitan talents. This event offers young people a prestigious stage to test themselves and demonstrate their artistic talents.
