At 03:00 this morning, a minor riding a Honda SH300 scooter, with a passenger, forced a Carabinieri checkpoint on Via Roma in Arienzo, in the province of Caserta.
The sixteen-year-old, without a protective helmet, realizing the presence of the soldiers who had ordered him to stop, accelerated dangerously, heading towards the town center.
The Carabinieri, who immediately recognized the young man, noted the license plate of the vehicle and, to avoid dangerous situations, decided not to chase him immediately.
A few minutes later, the fugitive, still on the scooter, was spotted in the square of a nearby town, where he was stopped and subjected to a check. Immediately showing himself intolerant and nervous about the presence of the military, he began to rant against them, making serious threats.
The commander of the Carabinieri Station immediately contacted the boy's parents, who, once on site, accompanied him to the barracks.
In addition to the fines for violations of the highway code, the young man was reported at large for violence or threats, resistance and contempt of a public official.
